I get mine from a supply house but you can find it at the drug store if, you
might need to ask for it.

are using anything less there is a larger percentage of water, so you are
wetting the nail with water and possible other forms of contamination before
application.  It is the ONLY thing I would use if I was not using the
manufacturers product. When you use a system you are putting down layers of
Chemicals that are formulated to work together. When you mix you might put
down a chemical that does not work as well with the chain and make a week
link.
