Wow...thank you so much everyone...Who would have ever guessed that a little
dream class could turn into this...I see education changing all over the place
and its great too see it happening...We owe it all to those that have been a
part of the education team and those that have welcomed us to their area.
LOL, I must admit, Deb knows me too well. Life is good, celebrate often..
I promise to always strive to bring you the best class possible and work
towards your needs as techs reach for thier next level of success. I will never
be "pepsi" .. Coke never compared themselves in commercials to make themselves
the best like the ever wanting Pepsi does in competing with Coke. Your needs
are what HRTE strives to bring to each class. This is about you, not about me
or money. And I know that those educating on the team or as guest artists feel
the same way.
The HRTE is unique, you will never beable to say "Been there, done that" , even
if I was to bring in the same educators, there's so much advanced technical
information it would prove useful, challenging and entertaining to most nail
techs. I believe this is why we have so many return attendees. )
A person I respect and look towards wrote this to me..
I think HRTE goes way beyond what techs think they need. Example: a tech who
says she needs help writing a salon brochure and building clientele, when in
fact she needs to grow a backbone and work in a different salon (he he) . . .
or a tech who complains that she takes too long to file when in fact what she
really needs is help in product application. For many techs, their abilities to
think, solve problems and be creative have been severely limited by traditional
school/manufacturer education and products.
You bring cutting-edge technical instruction and innovative products they don't
even realize exist, and even if they did, probably would never have access to,
unless they were traveling around the world. You bring the world of nails to
them. If we could only harness the energy of the "aha" moments that take place
during the class . . . For me, HRTE is about sharing information and
encouraging/challenging my colleagues to improve their skills and business.
(Yes I DO believe that salon move is directed towards me...LOL. This person
couldnt be more right. ) )
What we bring you is the creativity, artistic ability, technical expertise and
business sense to survive outside the box. )
Thank you all for you wonderful private emails with your kind thoughts and
supporting the HRTE!!!
We look forward to learning with you, see you at class!!!
