Very interesting, I have never heard of this.  Sounds pretty cool,  I will wait
to see how it goes.  Is this done for strengthening the nail?  I have tons of
perm papers, will have to wait for your step by step.

Juliettes are paper wraps. There is a product that is premade, packaged and
sold as Juliette wraps, but word from the OLD SCHOOL, pre-acrylic gals (Mom was
originally licensed in 1964 for instance) is that the best paper to use is the
end papers for perms.

You tear the paper instead of cutting it so that the edges are soft. You don't
glue, you use clear polish. With the torn edges, the paper will blend into the
polish and not create little rough edges.

I have ONE die-hard natural nail client and we have been discussing trying
Juliettes for years. But I can never really get ahold of anyone who does them
to pick their brain, so I've had to sort of re-invent the technique based on
what I do know.

Crystal (my client) defines a "natural nail service" as something that is
completely removed with polish remover between manicures....and I agree with
her.

These "gel manicures" are GREAT-- but they are gel overlays. They are NOT
natural nail services by the definition of most clients.

I'm doing a full set of Juliettes on Crystal this weekend, I'll let you now how
it goes!
