People are getting a little too whipped up about this in some ways. I was on the bus this morning and I started sneezing. Do I have Swine Flu? Noooo,,,,,I am allergic to Manitoba. It happens every spring since I moved here. Allergy meds were just kicking in for the day but I had a little snotfest on the bus. I knew it was coming so I got the kleenex out because Swine Flu or not, I am too polite to want to spray my boogers all over the place. Well, now I know how to get a seat by myself on the rush hour express!!!! I looked up from sneezing and everyone was STARING at me, big zombie stares. It was more than a little awkward, and then this man says, "Do you think you should be on this bus? Given the current state of things you're being very selfish." and everyone around hiim starts to look at their feet. Holy sheeple people!!!!!! No coffee, skipped breakfast because I am running late, and now I'm a snotty bugger = not a nice Coley. I got right in his face and said "Well maybe if you wouldn't BATHE in your aftershave I wouldn't be sneezing.....oink, oink, oink." Some people in the front of the bus snickered, but really. Are people that mindless and given to panic? Get off the bus my butt.
