The lead Doc for Kaiser Permanente was on KTLA (Los Angeles news) the other night and said the same thing. The masks really aren't going to help with this strain. He suggested lots of hand washing and avoid closed, cramped quarters with the general public. Tony and I were in Brazil when it broke out. We had ONE english channel and it was CNN. He and I have a few biz trips this month so it is important for us to watch the news on this and hope that our travels aren't prevented due to the outbreak. For the most part, the average healthy human being will be able to weather the flu. Children and Elderly are more at risk (like traditional flu).
