We attended the fund raiser the other night....it was very nicely done....They had a survivor and caretakers private dinner, music and singing also... 2 talented high school? girls sang solo and VERY good!? They then had a little ceremony and had a survivor "parade" around the school (inside)...then we went into the dome and started "selling" ALOT of kids, but? there were alot of parents also... well i did about? 6 sets of bling toes (on middle school girls), 2 polish changes (on 5 yeard olds) and 1 lady, mt age, who wanted nail art on 1 nail....she is a hairdresser AND she does her own nail art also!? The lighting was VERY bad ..thank god I brought my OTT light.? all together I made 39.00 woo-hoo but I really could only work for like an hour and a half...then we had another ceremony and yet another "parade" around the school. The halls were lined with luminary bags....which were 10.00 each..and you could decorate them and put your loved one's name on there and whether you were honoring them or remembering them......there were Sooooooooooo many bags...it was very touching....went back to? work for another 1/2 hour and then we packed it up! Left at 12:45 am!? The team all together brought in 150.00 my back wasn't bad but with all the walkikng and all the steps...remember it was at a high school...my legs were shot by midnight. Anyway....wanted to let you know the tube thing in my eye did not work...well the tear ducts are open but the tears won't go down the hole! Something is anatomically not working inside!? sooooo on May 13th I will have the first of 2 eye surgeries where the dr will put in a glass tube!? He will bypass the other ducts and put a glass tube from the corner of my eye into my nose....teeny tiny tube..but it stays in for a lifetime.? Glass attracts water..so it will draw the tears into it.....and the more I try to work now the more I realize that without this being done I can not work well at all....Can't see clearly...too much water in the eye. night all...going to sleep finally....a busy, busy weekend..... ?Pati Everyone has a photographic memory.
