I went and met the guy who owned it. Super duper nice (he's gay). Turns out we have a mutual connection. The very first salon I ever worked in... there was a partner. We got to talking and he mentioned some names and low and behold.... I have worked with the mans boyfriend way back in the day. So, it put all my uneasiness about the whole thing aside. I think it was a blessing in disguise. He's helping me out with the rent and to fill out all the applications I need and where to go to file them. (vendor's license and board app) He's very cool and I think it will be a good business venture. Now how do I tell the other owner what's going on?? Don't want to burn any bridges ya know what I mean.
