Adrienne,
I have forwarded your email to one of my co'workers who is not on the list, so
hopefully she will get back to you soon....
About 4 years ago, she had almost exactly what you describe. It was really
tough to watch and everyone wanted her to quit... She refused and has figured
out how to manage it!!
She took some allergy meds and controlled it through diet until it went away
the first bad outbreak. (She treated it like she had a really bad allergic
reaction to anything... kinda detoxed her body and got off allergy inducing
things like wheat...) Now she is really careful to never touch her face or her
skin if she has product or dust on her hands, she washes her face and hands A
LOT,... if the skin starts to tingle AT ALL she goes right back to that and
cuts it off at the pass.
It was really rough on her, but she was a trooper and stuck through it, and
works through it every day. Man, my heart goes out to ya...

I posted this on the forums as well...need all the advice I can get, plz!

Okay, I have very sensitive skin and horrible allergies. I have over the past
few weeks had a rash on my arms and chest that comes and goes...I have chucked
the old sunscreens, lotions, double rinsed my clothes. Well the rash is getting
worse and ITCHY and I am afraid it may be from work. I see the doctor on
Monday, but need advise and sympathy from anyone who is working with nails and
works with contact dermatitis. I refuse to give up nails...it is not an option!

What is the best way to control exposure without worrying your clients by
looking like a scientist in a hazmat suit?
