I didn't like the handpiece either for my Kupa, just made it very cumbersome. I ordered the handpiece and hose from gelessentialz ($25) to connect to my partigone, I had to do some adjustments a bit, but it works great, much much less cumbersome, and hardly any dust at all.

I've talked to a guy who deals with air quality and he made it very clear that although you might be able to get rid of some odors but air cleaners won't do much for the dust we create and the majority of the odors that acrylic will add. He said that once the particles and smells are airborne, that's that. The best thing to do is to catch them before they get airborn and with something like the Partigon you can do that.
