Yeah the light is $250 I think.  But it is flat on top and has a pad so you can
work on top of the light instead of having to keep moving it around and there
are trays on the inside that sit off the table so curing thumbs is a bit
easier.  also the trays are removable for feet.  I sound like I'm selling it.
LOL  I probably could, I've watched the TUT so many times.

Cira,
I did not have much experience with it.  I know the Axxium light is really
expensive.  You can use a regular full hand tunnel lamp, though,
much cheaper.  I took an Entity gel class and I like it.  They have the opaque
gels to hide flaws, which is great.  I still am in the testing stages on
myself.

I want to get into gels but don't know what line to go with.  Any suggestions?
Lisa, what did you think of Axxium?

Thanks Cira

I used Axxium at school.  Sometimes if the gel is too thick you will get a
burning sensation.  Especially on the thumbs.  I only experienced it when using
the Axxium system, though.  Has to do with the curing of the gel.  Experts,
please elaberate....

I really appreciate all the input that i have received....I did do my
first set of gels and I really like them.  I dont know how to upload
pix or else I would so you can give me your input on them.  The
problem I had is that she about jumped through the roof when she had
to put her hands in the UV lamp.  It didnt happen on  with the gel
base but it did when i laid the first layer of gel overlay (i am using
the Axxium system) Did I do something wrong????  It didnt happen on
the second layer though....can this have anything to do with her
soaking off her acrylics before she got this set of gels???
