I actually use the bit first, it takes most of all that dry dead skin right
off,  then after the soak I put some blue cross on them and remove any leftover
dead material if any is left
with a pusher, those nails are usually smooth as butter after doing this.

So do you uses sciver bit after pushing
back the cuticle or to do the actual
pushing back?

I do some of both,  I use e-file with my sciver bit for the cuticles and to
hone down any thickness,  and to get down those pesky calluses,  then I clip
the nails with my clippers or nippers,  then I hand file with a smooth grit
file then buff whole nail with oil and yellow buffer.

I have used the e-file during pedicures for a long time now and I would not
ever go back to hand filing. I don’t even pick up a hand file during my service
at all.
I use my e-file from trimming the nails all the way through to callus work,
EVERYTHING! If we had a power failure I would have to cancel my day, lol.

My clients live it and say that they would never go back to the hand files
either.

Anyone else?
