Michelle, I clean ALL the gel from my brushes. Why take a chance of it hardening? I just took out a brush that I had in a cabinet that was clean and I STILL had to dip in acetone to soften. :-/ !!! Each tech has their own way and my way is right for me.... Your way for you........ I also clean my acrylic brush in acetone.
