Jaedin is doing very good right now. No more tonsils, reduced adnoids and the
little mass was removed from his airway. His airway is still twisted and turned
a little bit. ( which I had a concern about). He did NOT have the second
surgery to remove the traech. Because my daughter finally came to her senses
and they moved back home. All 3 of us drove back June 7th. JJ had his appts.
at St. Jude on the 8 & 9 th. The tests keep coming back high in the kidney
cancer tests. This is typical with the type of solid mass tumor that he had.
We are keeping our fingers crossed at this point.
I hated the doctor that did his surgery in Oklahoma. He wouldn't answer any of
my ???s or concerns even though I had faxed his office copies of my medical
power of attorney. So I could talk to him about the surgeries. ( I was so
pleased to tell them he wouldn't be doing the other. I just had to giggle)
Anyway. Removal of the traech will be after he turns 2 in October. If they feel
he can tolerate it. Not because the doc doesn't like seeing you children with
traechs.
Otherwise he is good now. We take him to the mall every night to play and get
tired. GPaw too! Now. He is doing better. Still can't go back to work. But is
walking pretty good without his walker or crutches. Just waiting for the other
hip now.
