I sort of let it go so as not to sound like a waco but when someone would ask or say something I?will always encourage them to try it they have nothing to loose and it is Cheep. ?There is even a Dr. that writes a column in our local paper that swears that Vicks works.? Nobody quite knows how but it does.? The thing is no matter what they use it must be used faithfully until completely gone.? That is the catch with even the best prescription.? Everyone wants instant results.? And we all know it can take 10-12 months to grow a big toe nail from cuticle to free edge.? So how far back the infection is and how fast the nail grows all plays a part in the attention span of the person to stay with it. And like Lynnette said they pay us once a month or 5-6 weeks or whatever and we are to perform a miracle One of the girls that works with me has diabetes and she swears by it for her feet. She tells us that nothing else she ever used worked half as well.?I have seen them and they are as soft as a babies butt.? She uses a file to smooth and slathers them with Vicks and puts on white cotton socks.? I have seen it work so many times that if I ever needed it, it would be my first thing to try. <JMHO> Dawn [email protected] Lancaster,PA -----Original Message----- From: Shannon Kuharik <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, Jul 1, 2009 2:35 pm Subject: NailTech:: Re: Sole of feet skin question Now I have heard of rubbing vicks on the feet to help with a cough but not fungus. Sometimes the terrible cracked hard calloused feet have a form of athletes foot fungal infection.? We arent dr.s so we cannot diagnose.? But when you have done everything to eliminate the problem and it wont go away advise them to see a poditerist.<sp?> And the stubborn ones wont, so try The Footlogics system. And for the really stubborn ones reccomend? Vicks. I dont know why some are so lazy/stubborn or whatever to do a little home maintence. It's on the balls of their feet and heels. The skin is thick and hard and yellow. The thing is, I've had clients with hard thick yellow soles who don't have the bubble wrap look so I'm not sure they're related. Thoughts?
