I have tried to get away from OPI but people just love it. The names and new
colors coming out always keeps their interest. I personally think they are
overpriced. I think they are a good polish, but I have to tell ya, I have
bought almost all of Premiers Color Basics line. They are only a dollar and my
clients like those as well. I have tried a lot of other lines but I always hear
that it just isn't has good as OPI. They use them at first but always go back
to OPI, until I got Premier Color Basics. I have been using them for about two
years now and not one negative comment. Clients still love OPI but are just as
willing to use Premier. They really do love the idea of the new colors every
season. That is what keeps OPI interesting.

Clients ASK for OPI....thanks to OPI's marketing. Some say it is the best you
can buy....I NEVER agree with that statement. They equate price to quality and
in the case of polish, that just isn't true. I was an avid OPI fan when I came
into this business, but time and reading what is posted here, has taught me
much. Haken and Zoya and China Glaze and CND are equal in quality, sometimes
much better. And many cost so much less. But NO ONE can name their polishes as
well as OPI. I still use OPI occasionally but I never buy complete collections
anymore.....too many, too expensive, just too, too!

Hey Deb!
You must be lucky then. Not only is the polish not drying, they also get thick
pretty gosh darn fast. Too quick. I can use an Essie or Haken for almost 3/4 of
a bottle and never have to use thinner drops.
My one client uses ONLY Chocolate Shakespeare and she was the first for this to
happen. SHE said something to me about it.
Well at least I am not in the minority!!!! ;-)

I really never understand why so many people have issues with OPI…it is all I
use and never have issues!  I polish and let set 3 minutes or so then drop on
Drip Dry.  They leave in 5 minutes and are fine.

I am not sure about that being the reason Marsha but I have noticed the past
couple of weeks that just about every client that has chosen OPI polish -- the
polish does not dry!!!!!! Usually they all dry within ten to fifteen
minutes--any brand. The past few weeks it seems that all OPI just stayed wet
and tacky. WTH? Anyone else having this problem?

Whadayathink.....does the color pigment in polish have an affect on how long
the polish stays on the nails? My daughter, a hairdresser, just wore OPI's
Vampire State Building for 5 days with no chipping. She is a BUSY girl in her
salon. This may be the longest she's gone without chipping.
