Disinfectants should never ever be used on skin. Quats are designed for the immersion of tools not humans!!! One of my apprentices used to have a terrible reaction if she got quats on her. Barbicide is a quat - you wouldn't soak your clients' body parts in that. They are definitely in the WRONG on this and I don't know what school they went to but 20 years ago we definitely did learn in cosmetology school what theses things were properly used for because my first nail text was written in 1983:D
