oooohhh!! I'm at a spa on mondays that is in a gym and that's what the manager
wants a to clean the spa with.  today i noticed the CDN soak rocks we are using
are starting to leave a grean film on the bottom of the basin.  i dont' think
this should be used instead of a "spa clean" type product..

Hello All,

well as many as you know the last I posted I had moved from where I was doing
nails for 5 years to a whole new city and wasn't having any luck finding a new
place to work. But I kept searching and I have finally found a new home and let
me say I LOVE IT. Great place, great gals, great location, very near my house
and even closer to my girls school. Down side is it's like starting all over
again, because I have no clients.....BUT I am very optimistic and have learned
that I have the patience for those many hours of "sit" time trying to find new
clients. The other girls in the shop have been doing nails for 20 years here
and are all wonderful...Oh and I keep getting told I am a Godsend because two
of the girls are going on vacation and GUESS WHO GETS THERE CLIENTS while they
are away???? Muah! So I will at least get to crack open that acrylic! lol..

okay I have a question that has been on my mind since having a break room
discussion with 2 of the other girls, and it's more because I want to know over
anything else....Both girls told me they use quats in their pedicure bowls (no
spa chairs in the shop) as a foot soak. They said this is what they were taught
when they went to school. I went to school five years ago versus their twenty
so I don't know. I even looked around on States web page and can't find
anything...maybe I didn't look hard enough? When they told me this I said
really??? They said oh yeah, will kill any and all bacteria. And I said in
school we were made to use gloves when we cleaned our instruments in it, so
they said they only have one client that says that it dries out her feet.

so I am coming to the best place i can for answers because I know you all would
know a lot more then I ever could!

Thanks in advance!

Dawn
