I've had a few private inquiries.so a teeny lil update.
I had another surgery June 12th to reinsert the previously aborted tissue expander under my right chest muscles. Just in the last week or so I have started feeling MUCH better. I am so excited that the latest "infections" I've been having during this reconstruction process turned out to be inflammation, NOT infections after all. Mentally I was scared outta my mind that I would have to abandon the process and I would have to live my life lopsided. Not only do I feel better mentally now that we're proceeding.but I am getting my mojo BACK!!!! I feel so much better this week than I felt last week.and the month before that.and June..well, June pretty much sucked! Lolol I was so depressed that I just couldn't even bring myself to ask anyone for help.and after Vicki gave me a scolding recently..I am properly chastised! It's just that I was feeling beat down--That was my 6th surgery and along with chemo, hives, infections, hospitalization for IV antibiotics, a sprained right wrist from a fall, my beloved dog dying and getting my car crumpled by a guy who ran a red light early this year.it's been a TOUGH coupla years. And then I would talk to someone who was Stage 4.and I felt like crap for wanting to whine! Anyway.I feel so happy to be making progress. I have another surgery (or two) ahead of me, but I am eagerly anticipating the future now. Three more sleeps and Jenny and Karen Douglas will be here..we're having a slumber party at my house this weekend and I am SO psyched to have this wonderful chance to relax with my friends and talk NAILS!!!
