Hello yall its been a min since I have posted. I have missed yall a ton. the topic: Will Minx damage your nails? Not if you are applying to a healthy nail.
Let talk first about how minx is removed. The company says on/off w heat. Personally I first ask if the client is eco conscience ie...worried about chemicals. If the answer is no ..not worried... I use acetone to dissolve the minx. easy. 1st rule is don't put minx on a nails that is de-laminated (dry/several layers noticeably, white patching.) If you put minx over a nail that has this "white patching of dryness" then when you remove the minx-even with heat- it will pull the layers right off. If the client has this dryness then here is your opp to seel an over lay of a/c or gel. Lots of clients have this dryness on their toe nails from wearin polish all the time ton of pigmant . I use a gel over lay . These clients want to keep wearin polish no matter what right? So I tell them this is only poss if we protect them. Same thang here with the minx. They need an over lay before you add Minx. Minx creates an air tight water tight seal . so what ever the state of the nail when applied..when removed correctly the nail should be in the same state. I tell my clients DO NOT PEEL off unless you disolve with acetone or polish remover.... Thats it. I find more positives. Like I have gotten 3 nail biters to grow out with minx. No chippin or smudging. The client fly out my door. Im up to 10-18 PRE PAID clients a wk. Im happy to answer your questions MINXnPeace yall www.
