What product are u using to loosen the dead tissue? That it what the problem is. I use Blue Cross. It has been out since 1933 and works in 3 seconds. And u can get 32 oz for $6. I put it in a small dropper bottle to use on the clients. On fingers I use OPI's Pusher Plus and on feet I use either OPI's Pedi pusher or just a regular cuticle pusher or if they are diabetic an orangewood stick. If you have any othere ??? you can ask away. This is the best place to ask.

They usually file off with a buffer. I find it comes from pushing too hard and I push up fine pieces of nail after the cuticle is removed. I use Blue Cross and a metal pusher. I am using Spa Ritual's cuticle remover and stain remover. I do buff after but was not sure if it was me or the product or if I was the only one to get these. If you are still getting some tags on the nail, try a fine buffer. Is it pieces of nail or cuticle? When I do manicures and push back the cuticles I am very gentle but still get little pieces of nail that peel on th nail bed? Is that from me or the product?? I have started using an orangewood stick instead. Just wondering because it is only on a couple of nails but enough that it is driving me crazy!!
