Shannon, If she got them done at a "corner place," she probably does not have true gel on. She likely has MMA on her nails. Be very careful how you remove them. You can soak for hours and that stuff will not budge. I usually never remove MMA completely when applying my products. I just thin them down a bit. I am not using soak offs yet so I cannot help you there. Can you use soak offs on top of MMA and other products? Buenos dias, Lynnette Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

I have a friend who wants to try the soakable gels and is willing to let me practice. Problem is she got gels done at a corner nail place and they used tips and gel. I have never done gels so do you just file the gels off then soak the tips?? Thanks!!
