Shannon,
It may burn a bit under the light-- I said MAY burn.
If it was my nail, I would apply product immediately to keep it from more
trauma.
OH--we ALL have done the overfiling on our nails. We were all new once!! I
think once we do it to ourselves, we never want to do this to a client.
Buenos dias,
Lynnette

Subject: NailTech:: filed off too much

Ok. I had a training class on the soakable OPI gels. I have never done gels and
the rep did one of my nails. I tried filing it off since I have heard from
others that they had a hard time soaking off. The problem is (yes I am still a
newbie) I got a little carried away and filed a little too much off the nail
plate. It is sensitive in the little spot so I was wondering if I should wait
to try practicing putting on another color of the soakables until that spot had
grown out. Not sure if I need to with the UV light or if it would be better to
put it on to protect the nail while that spot grows out. Grrrrr. I'm a little
frustrated that I did that but at least it was not on a client. We were never
taught gels in class (unless you count a quick video). THanks!
Shannon K
