Shannon,

I have several clients that I do this way.  Eventually their own nails will be
grown out under the gel and that always gives added strength to your gel.  I
also do this and use regular polish for those who do  not want permanent
color.  With them,  after I have cleaned the dispersion layer off the nails,  I
put a little drop of oil and rub it in with a piece of paper towel then I apply
the polish and top coat.  Sounds strange but it works well.

One more gel question for everyone. Does anyone sculpt clear gels
(with no white tip) and just paint them using the gel color? Or is it
always a pink and white sculpted and paint over that?
