Pati, You can place on of those rubber things that helps you open jars under your table mount and that keeps it in place. When I use to use the table mount I also put it up on a small table beside my station because of the hose being to short. Now I just have my client hold it and I place the vacuum between my feet when in use. Angie Wingerter
