I don't know. I had a Greek boyfriend in college. And the grandma's were yaya.
Just like on the movie. My big fat Greek wedding. Omg y'all I almost lived that
life. For almost 7 months I went to Sunday "dinner" at his parents house with
all the cousins, uncles, aunts, etc. When I saw that movie it was so surreal.
I lmao and still do when ever I watch it.
Oooops sorry to get of subject. Been taking care of hubby all week. Had hip
replaced and I am needed a little girl time before I have to explode. Lol

Interesting.....I'd wondered if that name originated with the Jesuits who had a

Yaya is also Greek for grandmother.

Congratulations on your new grandson! I chose what the local Indian tribe uses,

but I like it, reguardless! I am Devan (16) and Colt's (21 mo.) Yaya.

I don't know what the little guy should call me. His other grandma wants to be
nana. I guess we will see what comes out when he tries to say grandma. I wish I
were rich. I would quit doing nails and just play with Landon.

Sarah is feeling better also. Now we can all get some rest. Thanks everyone!
Back to nails tomorrow.
