Hi..
I am not going to give advice on this one.. (for a change).. but,
I will say... what was printed below is much to the thought I was thinking too.
Vision: There is a cross dog at the house on the corner. There are signs up.. do not enter
Bad Dog, Dog bites.. stay away.
Now.. if for some reason.. a child.. or the mail man gets bitten by the dog.. even if the dog is on a leash going for a walk else where..
What do you think the people will bring up about that dog ?
They are going to bring up pictures of the signs... saying bad dog.. bites! That shows that the people know the dog may bite and probably will.. and it is a probable problem. They have knowledge of the dog being bad.
You think you are warning people of the dog... and helping them.. the law uses it against you.
Remove dog.. put in nail service... whatta got ?
I don't know if it applies.. I dont want to find out either! lol

What would the waiver be for? I'd be cautious about that. If you are doing professional and ethical work and not going beyond the scope of your practice...there shouldn't be a reason to. I like the idea of having consultation cards...I was in a class where the waiver question was asked...the educator responded "suppose something does go wrong with the client and she decides to sue you...well now she has evidence that you knew there was an issue but decided to work on her anyway. that's even worse"I hope this is the type of waiver you were referring to.Alanna
