I was just designing calendars (magnets) on vistaprint.com for my clients and friends, as well as my red hat society chapter / Belleza.
They have specials all the time, the first 10 calendars are free.. on special, and they always have specials! lol
Has anyone thought of printing a calendar.. doing a collage of pictures/clients on each page and handing that out ? Can do collage's at CVS or Walgreens, Walmart etc etc..
*Could print each month, then take it home on your own computer and print out a heavy weight paper copy and hand it to the clients.
*You can put a star or cute sticker on the date and write in their next appoint time in the proper day on the calendar.
I like the magnet calendars, for some reason they keep them! That way my calendar is always w/ them.. along w/ my * cell phone number and email addy.
(if they have my cell no matter where I am or go they can get in touch).

I ordered mine from Amsterdam Printing. They had a HUGE special back in August and I took full advantage of the $$$$ savings.
The pens have my nails that I entered in a SYS and placed 2nd and the other one--oops, was not the Orlando comp at all!! I just looked-- it are of another photo of the SYS comp that I loved but did not use.
The pens ans calendar turned ouit gorgeous. I will take a photo and put it on Facebook.

This year I am again giving out a calendar and pen. BUT the pictures on the
front of the calendar and the one on the pen are of nails I did in both
competitions I entered and placed. I LOVE the way they turned out. I now

I know, I know, you don' wanna think about it, but I wanted to get it
out of my life. Have you thought about Christmas gifts for clients
this year? I am cutting back this year.
It is hard, because when you do the same clients year after year, you
have to be creative. I went to a fall festival last week and found
some miniature pewter like measuring spoons, cute little burgers,
that measure, a sprinkle, dash and something else, tiny little
things. Got them for 2.00 a piece. Think I will bake something, and
wrap them in clear plastic, with a ribbon and the measuring spoons
attached to the ribbon.
Was thinking over the years what I have done. made a cookbook, made
gel candles, lotions and oils with candy, made my own oils one year,
another shea butter with different scents, dipped bear in soy wax
holding a file, g.certificate for paraffin gloves, $5.00 off coupons,
Starter Bread with cookbook (that was funny, it grew and grew and
grew). Anyone else know what they are doing??? diana from indiana
