I keep some tips that I have completed on display, and some people
choose a design from there and sometimes I am expected to just pull
something out of thin air (most times isn't so bad...other times my
brain does not want to function that way)**** Right above is your answer to most of your questions -Use the tips.. Put the price under them.. when they ask for nail art.. and make them "ask".Hand them the tips and say pick and I will be right back.. excuse yourself and go to the rest room to wash your hands.Come back and ask which they have chosen.. add up the cost and write down the service / nail art/ total and collect..t hen do it.If you wish.. or they ask for more.. let them know the cost of the additional.Your not use to doing it this way.. so the break to the rest room will help you !****
I want to give my clients enought notice so I was thinking January 1st
would be the right time.**** Sorry the right time was when you changed salons ! Now you have to get them going in the right track.The right time is now. Before all the holidays ( holiday designs ) come and go and you have given away the bank !Put a price on those tips right now... and a sign starting Nov 15th. or what ever date.. but do it by the 15th.**************
what do you think? I think the worst that could happen is that people
will stop getting the art and I will be able to add another
appointment or two to my schedule each day...

been charging all along and now that I have trained them this way it

I am ready now.We all know the cost of living has gone up.. they know apples that were 69 cents a lb are now 1.49 lbs.Potato's that were $2.99 a bag are now $5.99 a bag.. Milk that was $ 1.29 a gallon is now $3.29.. Bread that was 99 cents is now on "sale" for $2 a loaf.They know gas that was $1.29 a gallon is now $2.95 a gallon.We know that polish that was $2.50 a bottle is now $6 a bottle.. wipes that were $1.50 are now $4.50,stones are up.. etc etc.. pass it on that way if asked...Which design would you like today? Write it up and charge! don't skip a beat and talk about something else while doing the write up and art..KarolFlorida
