Alanna, The best practice model is yourself. If your nails are bumpy, then file them while watching TV. So if they don't look good after that apply more ac. File again. Eventually it will all come together. You are your best option. That is how I started learning ac. You can try different things on yourself, because it doesn't matter. I've taken class after class but I haven't been able to apply what I've learned since I do mostly manis, pedis, and minx. Getting forms to stay on is a whole 'nother issue! I was thinking of finding practice models on craigslist since everyone is scared of me jacking up their nails...this shouldn't be so hard. Also, I have the new YN glitter/powder mix kit (8 jars) for sale if anyone is interested. I thought I'd be ready to play with some glitter but I'm clearly not!
