Lynnette, It really does depend on the wearer. But as a general rule SOG doesn't work well for sculpting long nails. It's wonderful as an overlay on nails such as Deb's. Some SOG's do have building properties to them BUT again not for adding significant length, more so for sculpting an "active" length nail. When you say you didn't have success with using SOG over ac because it peeled...are you referring to SOG polish?

Okay- then this is confusing. *some companies say you can use their SOG over acrylic and gel. -- I tried this and it peeled. *Deb-you have long nails and are wearing them with no problems?!? *what would you consider significant length NOT good for the SOG? SOG's are more flexible for sure.. some more than others..SOG's are not really made to be an overlay for any significantlength..
