Looks like to me that the so called "Soak Off Gels " really aren't soak off. To
me it's a misrepresentation of these products.
If your still having to file it to remove it. Then it's not a "soak off"
product. Plain and simple.
That's why I watch to see what is new and up coming and see who is using it
here and see the pros and cons given here and then I make my decisions on what
products I use.
The only pro I have seen with the S-O-G is possibly. It's better for toes over
regular gels. I debate that one only because it seems to take more to remove
than reg gel. So why should I invest in YET another product that the industry
says I just must have when I am doing just great with what works?
I mean there's not a complete explanation from the experts as to why the S-O-G
don't soak off. I'm talking about the owners of the companies that make these
products. And the chemist too.

Ya know I have so many different product lines in my closet that it's crazy to
even think about how much money is sitting there. This or that was the NEW
nail fad and I had to have it. I know it was my choice but, now I am wiser and
see what's going on. If there were samples out there that would be great. But,
when I called a couple of companies about their products they said" no no
samples." "Well, that really makes me want to buy your product even more now.
You have a product that is suppose to do the impossible. You want me to buy
it. Yet, you won't send me a sample to try. Even though. I am an educator in
a Beauty College teaching 18 nail tech students at the time. Hmmm, you really
DONT want to sell me or my student or future student or their co-workers
product do you. Two companies turned me down. The third said they just didn't
give out samples at all to anyone. So, that is my adventure in trying to
locate sog's

So if there is anyone out there that doesn't mind me being technical and
picking there brain and trying to figure this S-O-G thing out I would really
appreciate it. Especailly when I can go back to my students and give them a
true and better answer than just trying to bs my way thru it. I like having the
right answer for my girls. I have hated having to say I have no idea about the
new soak of gels girls. All I can tell you is that they really don't soak off
like they say they do. And leave it at that.

Sorry for ranting but this has been on my mind for a while and I finally
decided to get it off even if it took 2 tries the cat ran across me and so the
1st one wasn't finished.

What product name did you use. If it's that good then maybe I'll try
them. I don't know the procedures either? I do acrylics.
Thanks

Hola everyone!! Greetings from chilly Pennsylvania!
I have some questions again with this "soak off" gel.
I had VERY good results with my first guinea pig. She works in the
post office and her nails take LOTS of abuse. First chip was two
weeks later.
BUT-- I went to soak this stuff off and LO and BEHOLD the gel does
NOT soak off. I filed a bit and it did not budge!!!!!
So I wound up e-filing it off!!!!
What are you soaking off with?
Does it come off like acrylic or does it just come off in one piece?
Or the layers you apply?
This stuff stuck like mma

Help!
Muchas gracias,
Lynnette
