I have learned so much the last couple of years. Go down to the bottom of this message and click on the google group nailtech ect... in blue. Next to more options I think. There you will find all of the messages sent by this group. A dry-pedi is a pedi without soaking in a footbath. I am doing my first one tonight. This is what I am going to try.... spray feet with disinfectant remove polish quick file callouses apple callous eliminator and cuticle remover put foot in a baggie and electric bootie repeat on other foot remove baggie and file callouses cuticles, trim, file and buff toenails use foot scrub and wrap foot in warm moist towel replace baggie and maybe electric bootie (haven't decided) other foot message and polish Angie Wingerter From: Krystle Haines <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Fri, January 15, 2010 11:32:58 AM Subject: RE: NailTech:: Dry pedi...Thank You! Hi I've just signed up for this site so I think that I missed out on what exactly a dry pedi is....so if someone could explain the full procedure it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Krystle Date: Thu, 14 Jan 2010 18:07:49 -0800 From: [email protected] Subject: Re: NailTech:: Dry pedi...Thank You! To: [email protected] I think I would say the same thing I sai d to my clients when I started doing dry manicures. " I am trying a new pedicure procedure. I will not be soaking your feet because I can file your heels smoother when they are dry and I also will be using extreme moisturizing creams which I feel will do a wonderful job for your feet. I am sure you will be very happy with this pedicure. I really would love for you to try it." You can say something like that or make up your own dialogue . As long as you believe in the procedure, you should be able to talk your client into anything. To: [email protected] Date: Thursday, January 14, 2010, 8:34 PM How have you guys sold your clients on the dry pedicure? I would love to start doing this but I know my clients will think they are getting cheated and some might want a discount. How do you introduce it to them without them thinking it is less work on you and they are getting less of a service?
