Lynnette,
OPI has 2 SO topcoats, correct?  I bought the base and the topcoat that was
in the blue colored "polish bottle".  I got home and realized that they also
have a top coat that is in the same pot as the base.  What is the difference?
Also, can you share with us the steps you use for your dry pedis?  I
am considering getting rid of my whirlpool chair and getting a comfy recliner
type chair.

Since when does acrylic have a smell?????? LOLOLOL. I cannot smell it anymore.
Also, Katie, I have foir different companies SO gels. As much as I do not want
to say it, OPI's is so far the best.
I like Nailite's colors and they are fine on me, but it did not cure on the
sides of my one client today.
OPI's top coat is by far the best. It stays shiny.
JMHO,
Buenos dias,
Lynnette<-- who is happy to see you back!!!

I know, right? The other tech says she uses OPI but I know for a fact she
doesn't. OPI never smells that bad and nor does CND. I use both depending on my
mood. I also use Entity. I really like all of them.

Thanks, and its nice to be back doing enhancements. Now only if I can get a
hold of a gel polish workshop somewhere around Seattle. I want to try them all
before I decide on which one to use for my services. Maybe I'll check ED WYSE.
They usually have workshops on OPI products. The OPI folks are wonderful. I
love them!

Ok, I just got back into doing enhancements after a 1.5 year break. Been
practicing my p/w sculptured nails and can't tell you how much I missed it.
Anyway, as I was practicing on my own nails a client for the other nail tech
complained how bad the smell was. Now mind you, she comes in for a fill every
two weeks. Her tech uses the "cheap" stuff. I use high-end. It took a lot of
energy to hold me back from reaching over and choking her sorry A%# self.
She proceeded to let me know that "her" neurologist told her that the "fumes"
are bad for you. I corrected her and informed her that the monomer is not
a fume but if it was we would all blow up into small pieces.  That wouldn't a
been such a bad thing to happen to her! However, since she knows more than a
licensed nail tech and she's only an uninformed consumer I kept my mouth
shut (eventually). I wouldn't have won the arguement anyway since one never
does when they argue with an idiot. So,
welcome back to the nail world, right.  Just had to vent. Sorry.
