Oh Maureen-- I hope she has what I call "true gel" on and not chop shop MMA. I wonder if she has been overexposed from the places that did her nails before you. Try to get her in SOG. Buenos dias, Lynnette Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

She takes prednisone for emphysema and I don't know the dose. I hope this works for her. I had a nail put on at an HRTE in October and I just cleared it up. I have found that wearing product helps keep my skin clear. I can no longer wear acrylic. It lifts my natural nails off the beds. I have been using the SOG and all my problems surrounding the nails cleared up. I had to do the Prednisone last year. OMG I LOVE that stuff. It took some time to clear up my eczema, but I also made the steroid last longer. I wonder what her dosage is and if they have her SLOWLY wean from it. Did you do the gels or someone else for this trip? I have her wearing overlays (acrylic).. This skin condition started about 1 1/2 years ago I have been doing her nails every other week for about 12 years with NO problem. I suggested she not fill for a while. I didn't want to remove the nails because her fingers are so cracked and inflammed and very sore underneath thus no soaking. WEll, she has a respiritort condition so she has been on prednisone on and off. When she is on the steroids she clears up. The minute she goes off it starts all over again REAL quick. Now, an allergist is involved. I told her no more acrylic until we know for sure if she is allergic. Well we have used anything for about 8 weeks now just doing manicures. Today I get a call, she is going on a cruise and doesn't want to stress over her nails so she had a set of gels applied. What do you all think? I think she should have waited the process out . Her condition is severe and introducing a new product could really make her miserable. What would youall have done?
