They have great spatulas at Michaels in the paint section. I use mine every day to mix my gel polish and they are cheap, durable and have a nice bend to it to really get in my pot. I found when I first started using the sogs that I would need many coats but when I used a toothpick and gave the gel a good mixing, making sure to get right to the bottom, I would only need the recommended 2 coats. I think that sometimes the gels "settle" when not used for a while and they separate therefore needing a stir.
