So I'm eagerly awaiting the availability of Nail Harmony's LED lamp-- primarily
because it's the only LED lamp that promises to be anywhere near affordable to
me.
There's a post on the message boards about LED lamps for gel curing and one gal
posted that her BF works with aquarium lighting and he says we should be able
to cure all gels with LEDs... naturally, this set my brain to spinning and I
have been combing the internets for info on UV LED options.
Thus far, my understanding of the technology is that yes, we can cure all UV
products with LED.
However, for those of us who want to know why the LED lamps on the market now
are costing over a thousand bucks when we've all picked up an LED flashlight
for a buck-fifty? Here's a two part article on aquarium LED lighting that I
thought was very interesting so I thought I'd share with my
fellow knowledge-hungry nail-nerd (can you believe one of my clients called me
"NAIL NERD?!") friends here:
