So I'm eagerly awaiting the availability of Nail Harmony's LED lamp-- primarily 
because it's the only LED lamp that promises to be anywhere near affordable to 
me. 
 
There's a post on the message boards about LED lamps for gel curing and one gal 
posted that her BF works with aquarium lighting and he says we should be able 
to cure all gels with LEDs... naturally, this set my brain to spinning and I 
have been combing the internets for info on UV LED options.
 
Thus far, my understanding of the technology is that yes, we can cure all UV 
products with LED. 
 
However, for those of us who want to know why the LED lamps on the market now 
are costing over a thousand bucks when we've all picked up an LED flashlight 
for a buck-fifty? Here's a two part article on aquarium LED lighting that I 
thought was very interesting so I thought I'd share with my 
fellow knowledge-hungry nail-nerd (can you believe one of my clients called me
