Hi Teks, I am in quite a fix lately. Ever since the economy in my area bottomed out, my nail business has taken a real hit! I can't remember being this slow since I very first started doing nails 27 years ago! And even then I had a FULL book within 6 months!
Where did the clients go? 5 are in Florida 4 said they couldn't afford to have them done anymore 5 are on the injured reserve list (knee replacement, dementia, broken arm, heart surgery, foot surgery) 3 went back to plain manicures and had their enhancements taken off Some are just missing in action, although I don't miss a few of them much! (How many checks do you bounce before you figure out how to balance your checkbook!?) I have had to go to nursing homes lately to do some of the clients who are sick, and was wondering if there is a need for manicure services in the nursing homes. I would gladly give up my station rental ($325 a month) and just do nursing homes at this point! It seems stupid to pay rent when my book is only 1/2 full each week! I really can't afford to go on like this! Ideas and suggestions are welcome! Thanks!
