The State Board of Cosmetology Examiners would like to take this
time to inform you that several administrative rules have been
amended effective March 10, 2010. Many of the rules pertain to
sanitation and equipment requirements in a salon. Please note that
the rules reference EPA registered disinfectants. To determine if
the disinfectant you use is EPA registered, simply check the label
for the EPA Registration indication and registration
number. Attached are the rule amendments with new language
indicated in bold type, and language deleted indicated in stricken
through type. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail
