Lisa,
I think you are working with your acrylic too wet if you're getting a marbled
look.  Personally, I don't like the TT dramatic white's color.  It's not white
enough.  When you get sample kits, they always send the dramatic white.  I only
use the Whitest White.

What size brush are you using?  I use a size 8 brush. It holds a good amount of
liquid.  To get the right mix ratio, I saturate the brush completely.  For a
large bead, I only wipe the very tip of the brush against my dappen dish, and
then dab the brush VERY lightly one time on my towelette.  Then I drag my brush
across the powder from one end of the container almost to the other side (if
you have a 1/2 oz or 1 oz container, drag from one side completely to the other
side of the powder).  Wait and count to 3.  If the bead is still crusty or all
the powder hasn't been saturated to form a pretty ball that looks like a pearl,
your ball is too dry.  Try again and immerse your brush the same way, but don't
drag as far across the powder container.  If the bead is very wet and pours off
your brush when you flip it over, your bead is too wet. Immerse your brush
again, but this time wipe the brush from about halfway up the bristles instead
of just the
very tip. Drag across the container again.

This is how I practiced getting different size beads but all of them with the
proper mix ratio.  It's a combination of how much of the liquid you squeeze out
of your brush AND how much you drag your brush in your powder.

Email me back and tell me if this works.

They sent me a sample acrylic kit and I am considering switching from YN.  But
I am having issues with the dramatic white.  It is coming out with a
marble affect.  When I lay the pink it doesn't flow.  I am thinking I have
a powder to liquid ratio problem.

Hi Lisa!
I use TT, I'll try to help if I can.  What's going on?
