Had a snowbird call today wanting to know if I did "organic powder manicures?" She's from Manhattan and only a few ppl do this service...her tech gave her an 800 number--so I could call to order the organic powder!
Talking further to her...turns out it's powder and glue...and she needs a fill...not just a manicure. (I have a very nice glue and powder system by BackScratchers, so I won't need to be ordering any "organic" powder for her.) I politely explained that all nail enhancement products are organic by definition, blah blah blah...and I'm sure I can accommodate her needs. Fri @ 11a we'll see. Long conversations like this are why I have problems with marketing spins like "permanent french manicure" rather than telling the truth about it being a nail enhancement!
