I do 1 coat of clear, full cure (leave dispersion layer) 1 coat of pink, full cure (leave dispersion layer) 1 coat of white, clean smile line with a brush dipped in alcohol, full cure (leave dispersion layer) additional coat of white if needed, full cure (leave dispersion layer) 1 coat of sealant, full cure, remove dispersion layer and you are done.
If your client wants the pink over the white, it will soften the white a little for a different look, just leave the dispersion layer on after the white and apply the pink over the white. If they want it pinker, you can do 2 coats of pink under the white or one coat under and 1 over the white. You can do what ever you want, just make sure that the alcohol is dry before applying more gel and do not flood the nail with alcohol, use just enough to wet the brush and wipe the gel off the brush before swiping the smile line each time. Hi folks! I was going to try this out on myself first, but my kid got sick and threw off my schedule so I am appealing for advice! I have a "no chip manicure" client coming in tomorrow who want a french manicure with the soak off gel. What is the procedure you guys use for this? I have done lots of one color sog, but not french... do you put on the pink first or the white? If pink first, do you wipe off the dispersion layer before applying the white so you can clean up the smile line, or do the white first and put the pink over it? What do you use to clean up the white smile line... acetone or alcohol? Can somebody (or a few) please post your procedure for a french no-chip manicure with the sog so I can formulate a plan of attack? I use Axxium (Hawaiian Orchid and Alpine Snow) but I don't know that it really matters much what product.... :) Thanks for the help!!!!
