Your best bet for the money, in my opinion, is a trip to the IKEA store nearest you! I've had my nail station for more than 20 years now, and it still looks like NEW! You can get the top the size you want, you can get either a cabinet or drawers for one end or both ends, or mix and match! It was super easy to put together, and cost less than $200.00! My station is 5 ft. long, with a cabinet on the left side, (holds my airbrush compressor, a gallon of acetone remover, and lots of nail art stuff!) I have 4 drawers on the right side. Lots of storage area there! You will be MUCH happier with storage options instead of a countertop with legs! Trust me on this one! And BONUS! A few years ago I got tired of the plain white and covered it with white/beige blend marble contact paper! Woo hoo! My clients thought I had a BRAND NEW TABLE imported from ITALY! lol! I also added a beveled glass top for $40 from the paint store, so I don't have to worry about acetone, polish, gels, alcohol, etc. The top does get scratched, but I just replace it every couple of years and its good to go! What have you used for the surface? I'm thinking about making my own, but I need a top that looks nice but resists acetone. I like the size of a console table but they're all either wood or glass. What do you think about buying a piece of formica counter top and putting some legs on it? -- Michelle Phoenix Elite Licensed Nail Technician Wet Paint Nail Spa www.wetpaintnailspa.com Online Booking Available -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group.
