FYI... when I am doing nails on the girls at the office and during
seminars...I always say, "primer not needed but for the ultimate long
lasting sog, you CAN use primer". Now does it make it take longer to soak
off, absolutely not. I've talked to the lab about the possibility of nail
exposure to sun continuing to cure the gel harder over time making it less
porous and harder to soak off, and they with certainty confirmed no that
would not do it.

So I'm stumped what some people are doing different to take ten minutes. I
did a demo today in front of all the students on the cruise. I peeked at
3minutes and most of the gel was already flaking. At 4 minutes I had it all
off. I do usually just wait til 5 or 6 minutes to take the foil off. Those
of you taking 10 minutes...try peeking at your first wrapped nail during
soak off time. You may find that it's coming off faster than you know
because you can't see it. Also, soaking in a dish vs foil. Foil IS much
faster.

OHHH and Vicki Peters is my witness. (Unless she walked away). She's here
on the cruise with me and was at my gel class. I'm pretty sure she was
still here. Either way, my techs here could back me. 4 minutes it was off.

What you're using for a "sealer" could also be the problem. Thicker
application will take longer to soak off. If you're applying it "like gel"
and thicker....stop. The nails are super strong in three, polish thin
coats. The flex makes it strong. Don't waste your time, product or money
making them thick thick.

Wish you all could have been here today for the SOG Class. Our seminar room
is on the very top and back of the ship. The views are amazing and can be a
bit distracting at times.... LOL

:) Elaine
