Ok, gotta admit, LOVE Gelish!! So sorry I didn't try it sooner... And even more surprised that those who use it haven't gone gah-gah talking about it! I'd be all over the place saying "have you SEEN this stuff??!!"
I've now tried Gelish, IBD's soak off colored gel, Shellac, Eco SOG and Axxium. Star and Axxium are more like traditional gels. IBD, Gelish and Shellac are polish viscosity - IBD goes on with a gel brush, (like a dream, I might add!!) So those are my favs... The key is SUPER thin coats- super......duper........really thin. The gal at Nailtech supply said "everyone is going gel, soon no one will be doing acrylic anymore" - of course she was touting her $350 lamp too and how fast it is...but did you all know they are only recommending it be used with Reveal Gel and Gelish? They don't promise it will cure any other gel and could even cause burning. Anyway, I'm off to push more gel polish today and will easily be getting $35-$40 for almost every person who sits in my chair!
