Oh boy Fortunately I got to my Salon before one of the techs bought the new Shellac system. Thank heavens I am on several professional boards. I managed to stop the purchase! Wake up Nail Techs there are some salesman running around to Salons all over the US selling these "mini" Shellac special sets, handing out fancy brochures and taking orders because they are currently "ALL SOLD OUT". These "mini" sets do not have the Lamps.
I got the first hint of problem with the new Shellac distribution on one of the European boards. Please Please ladies don't buy the system until you are absolutely gaurenteed that you can purchase the WHOLE system!! This system does not work unless you have the CND LAMP. As for my Salon we will not be buying the system - don't get me wrong I'm not saying there's anything at all wrong with it. Maybe after it's been out there for 3 or 4 years we will consider it. With the economy it's just not profitable at this time. Also there are two other systems similar to the Shellac so you have three great choices. On another note Universal Companies is carrying Shellac (I am a regular customer and got an e-mail about it on Wednesday the 12th).
