That wrench must be a new item included since I bought mine. I have 2, one is about 9 years old and the second is a Vicki Peters, maybe 3 or 4 years old. I'll call and see if I can buy one. I had to send my older handpiece in, maybe 6 years ago. They removed the stuck bit and didn't charge me. Marsha Rubino Gimme Nails @ Skin Envy Day Spa 38 First Ave E. Ste. E Kalispell, MT 59901

I have a Kupa and you do not have to take the hand piece apart to get a broken shaft out. There is a little wrench that comes with your unit and it has a triangular hole in it that fits over and unscrews the end of the handpiece where the bit enters, unscrew piece falls out and re screw and new bit goes in. It is over in less than 5 min and totally painless. Thank you Kupa tech support over the phone.... Since I've started working for an e-file manufacturer....I have learned A LOT about hand pieces. The number 1 likely repair....removing the shank of a broken off bit. The number 1 thing that will void your warranty....taking apart your hand piece to try to get the broken bit out Folks....I'm telling you do not take a part your hand piece. I've sat and watched our repair tech take hand pieces apart for repair..there are a lot of tiny parts...and they know if it's been taken apart. We are working on adding something to our hand pieces that will enable you to easily remove a broken off it without having to send it in for repair, Any way....I wanted to let you know that we have hand pieces that have a U Power cord for $119....Contact me privately, or on Facebook...or if you'll be in Orlando stop by our booth #6866. Man, it was like sloooooooooooooooooooooow motion..............put the hand piece on my table, it started to slide,,,,,,,,slowly, i saw it going, I turned to grab it, watched it go down, caught it, by the cord, slipped again, tried to grab it, BAM, straight down, on the floor, head first, bit still in it,,,,,kind of like bungee jumping, that sooooooooo didn't work. please don't break, please don't break, please don't break. Oh noooooooooo, the hand piece didn't break, no no no, the bit broke, and the shaft still in the damn thing, and no way is it coming out!! Oh crap, now what. I know, some of you are saying you need two hand pieces for those back up emergencies. Well I do have another one, Oh Diana, you got out of this one. But wait, you would think a normal person would have this 2nd hand piece ready to go, you know, you bought a second one the last time you did this, so you would never have to be without your e-file. A normal human being and nail tech with half of a brain would have done this. But air head diana had the OTHER handpiece at home, in a box ready to be shipped out for repairs, and just didn't get around doing it..........yea right......AIRHEAD.!!! Gawd, I hate hand filing,,,,my hand hurts, I cut two clients, I am such a loser. Thank Gawd, a stylist bought a super cheap efile at the chicago show for home use. She brought it in and saved my hands and my clients hands.......It sounds like a train off its tracks, and vibrates so bad, but better than my hands........ Sent them both off yesterday,,,,,,,Just really cracks me up how I can screw myself over...........Airhead from indiana LOLOLO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group.
