Good Afternoon,

I have a client who is also a dear friend since childhood who is having
some issues wearing acrylics this go around. We sometimes do acrylics, but
more often she wears her nails without acrylics. She has had acrylics on as
long as 6 months approximately with no issues. Today when she came in for
her fill she had (5) nails with a rare appearance. I have seen "greenies"
over the years, but the discoloration was seemingly
very dark brown to begin with. I was a bit taken aback. *Her acrylics had
been on approximately 2 months so they were fairly new. There was only a
tiny bit of lifting at the bottom and the natural nail was secure underneath.
The only other time I have seen such issues is with a client years ago
that was smart enough to go to the doctor right away. *She had been a long
time client who knew something wasn't right. I can't remember exactly what the
doctor had said (dummy me for not writing it down!!!) but he diagnosed her
as having some oxygen problems.

Since this is a dear friend I am of course quite concerned. Your feedback
would be more than appreciated.
She is 67 years of age, wears a C-Pack at night, has some moisture to her
hands, and does take some meds. BTW, no playing in dirt.

Thank you in advance my nail tech friends~
Della
