Lisa,

You are not stupid. It would be stupid not to ask!

UV Dry Top Coat is to be used just like any other top coat. It is a hybrid
topcoat. A combination of a traditional air dry top coat and a UV gel. It
will dry quickly when under a UV lamp. It is not a gel, it is much more
similar to a traditional air dry topcoat. The advantage of it is that it is
more durable, more flexible and dry's faster than a traditional air dry top
coat. Basically it preforms better. You can use it over a traditional base
coat, polish, gel, wrap or acrylic enhancement. You can't use it directly
on the natural nail, you need to use Gelousy Gel-a-Bond acid free primer or
a traditional polish type base coat under it if you want to use it by
itself. Otherwise it can go over just about anything.

I have an article that is almost finished on the subject. As soon as it is
done I will post a link here. Probably tomorrow.

Not to sound stupid, but...is this UV topcoat for regular gels, SO gels or
polish? I thought this post started out to be about Shellac base & top so I
just wanted to be sure what you were talking about. I see you say it cures
in 2 min and can be removed with prep, acetone or nail polish remover? I am
looking for something that doesn't chip that I can use over Dashing Diva
virtual french nails.

Thanks!

Marsha,

Try Gelousy UV Top Coat. Your money back if you don't think it is as good
or better.

We worked with ProFinish back in the OLD days, pre CND. They hired us to
develop a gel for them. We did but they rejected it because it would not
cure in a 4w UV lamp, which they had spent big bucks developing.

That gel became our Natural gel.

In any case, our UV top coat is kick a**. No Yellowies, No Crackies, No
Chippies, cures in 2 minutes. 14 days guaranteed. Removes with Gelousy
Nail Prep, regular nail polish remover or acetone in under 20 seconds.

Available in 0.5oz, 4oz, 8oz, 32oz, 1gal, 5gal, 55gal.

I will swallow a fly if you can find better.

So.... I use refills of lots of polish products. The refill bottles are not
open as much as a regular use bottle, so I find it does not get thick like
if you had that big of a "brush bottle". And I tip my "brush bottle" to use
it until it is almost empty, so when I refill I am not changing the solvent
ratio. This has worked for me all the way back to my ProFinish UV Topcoat...
:) Refill bottles are more convenient. I don't have the time or patience for
little bottles all over the place or running to the beauty supply or GOD
FORBID just running out!!! :)

The smaller sizes are to help prevent wasted product, just like polish each
time the lid is off some solvents escape. As for refils, when you dump new
into a bottle with old, the ratio of solvents is going to be off already!

Am I the only one who thinks the base and top coat should come in larger or
