Lynnette and I bought this in Chicago last year. They look like the
mask on Silence of the Lambs!!!
Renee, they look awesome, but these are not like a white tip, more
like a plastic stick on plastic type of thingy. They are not for
long term, what I mean, is you would reapply every 2 weeks. No big deal.
The worse part of them is if you don't get those edges down when you
glue them on, they will peel. You have to make sure you cap the
ends, or they will peel.
Also, like Lynnette said, if there is short nail length, they are not
going to work. And if your clients nails are long, then they will
look off balance, because the white plastic is very thin in width.
They look beautiful. I love Dashing Divas warm pink coverage. More
for us warm tone skin tones.
I personally had trouble with the gel, it would peel on me. I meant
to get to the booth at the orlando show, but forgot about it.
Lynnette, got a question. If I remember right Christine buffed the
nail, put the base on then buffed and then applied the white tip. Is
this right? Or did she buff the nail,apply the plastic tip, then the
base? I just can't remember. thanks diana from indiana

Diva. They DO work with polish. They have to ve glued on and the
edges need to be quite secure or they will peel off. You can use
them on artificial nails. It is a great uniform look. The idea is
awesome. I have photos on my facebook somewhere with a photo of
them. When I get to my computer tomorrow I will try to remember to
see what album and send you the pic. You have to have nail to apply.
If the nails are too short they will not work. I love the concept.
You can apply acrylic and gel over it. Not sure about any of the
sog, but I bet it would work with Gelish and Gelousy. Let me know if

Subject: NailTech:: weird nail application...what is it?
HI all, I havent posted in a while, but I had a client ask me about
something she was told about the other day...her sister went and got
some nails done at a salon...not an nss....anway, the nail tech
apparently took this thing that looked like a tip with some white
stuff in it and glued it to the clients nail. Then she proceeded to
clip the end of the nail with clippers..this made all of the nail
except the white part pop off the nail...leaving behind only the
white portion. The thickness was so thin, my client could not feel
it. Well, the white part didn't stay on too long..it eventually
peeled off....but she said that the proces seemed so weird she had
b=never heard of anything like that before. Now I have not really
been up to date lately on research of new techniques..I've kind of
been in a pink and white acrylic rut...which I like mind you, but I
havent even heard of anything like this. I hope I have explained it
correctly...has anyone ever heard of anything like this?
