I agree whole heartedly, Holly. I stopped reading the comments after 6 or 7! What a waste of time. Marsha Rubino Gimme Nails @ Skin Envy Day Spa 38 First Ave E. Ste. E Kalispell, MT 59901

Most articles about Shellac have similar comments and IMHO some tend to break down about like this: People who actually know what it is and have a comment People who think a $10 mani is a rip off and believe they can wear normal polish from Walmart for 2-3 weeks People putting in their 2 cents about other manufacturers because they do not understand or know that Shellac is not a soak off gel and so is not comparable to anything else People who just like to spew negative thoughts about anything they can because they like to People who have never and will never go to a salon but like to rip on them anyway I do not want to influence your opinion one way or the other, only you can know what is right for your business. I do want to give you some food for thought though! In reading the comments, a lot of people are very righteous, rude, and negative. I don't know about you but there is not enough money to make it worth putting up with people that bring that to the table. I like having clients that value my time, my education, and my passion for making their nails beautiful. Can everyone in my area afford me? No. Does that make MY time less valuable? No. Should I refuse to try new things or raise my prices because people who do not and will not come to me would complain about it? I think you get the idea! At the end of the day I want to have spent time with positive people, who enjoy being educated in their nails and nail care. I like leaving with a smile and a feeling of accomplishment, instead of slumped shoulders and a feeling of self loathing. If you are not ready to try Shellac, then wait, but please don't let negative people be what influenced how you run your business! Wait for reasons that are yours and yours alone, make sense?
